Cloud endpoints are persistent resources. Public bindings expose an endpoint to the internet; internal bindings keep it within ngrok’s private network. Agents create tunnels separately. API keys authenticate management requests; agent authtokens cannot authenticate these API calls. New API keys and authtokens are returned only at creation, while event-destination credentials are redacted from configuration results.
